The Dining Warehouse

Mulberry Hall is one of the world's best fine china and crystal shops. The store attracts a wealthy, conservative customer, as well as a good deal of the tourist trade. The directors decided they wanted to attract a younger, more fashion-conscious market.

Rather than tinker with the existing very successful business, we suggested a completely new venture aimed specifically at the target market.

We took as inspiration the kitchens in the Brighton Pavilion - stripped brick walls, reclaimed pine fittings based on the classic butcher's block. Very much the "Downstairs" to Mulberry Hall's "Upstairs".

Fresh, exciting and informal, The Dining Warehouse quickly established itself as a destination shop within York.
